Meet Lynda
Hi!!! My name is Lynda Kreutzer, my husband Dave and I have lived in Grand Island for 31 years and will be married for 35 in October. We have 2 grown children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, 3 grandchildren with 1 more on the way, and a fur baby. I joined Pink Nation in April 2019, shock, disbelief, confusion, anger, and fear hit me like a ton of bricks, I cried, cried, and then cried some more, at some point, I realized I needed to gather all the courage I could muster and begin the journey. I went through 16 weeks of chemo, a double mastectomy, 33 rounds of radiation, DIEP flap reconstruction, Phase 2 and am waiting for Phase 3 in June….I’m getting a belly button!!!!
The last few years have been challenging to say the least but I’ve been blessed to have a great support system in my family, friends, and church. I first learned about Project Pink’d when I received the awesome gift bags during my treatments but it wasn’t until my daughter did some research that we found all the programs and support that Pink’d provides, I only wish I’d found it sooner. I read with much interest about the past Retreats and knew I wanted to be involved in one, I am thrilled to have been invited to be a part of this year's Dare to Thrive group and look forward to all that is to come with my new Pink sisters!!
