I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2009 (recurrence August 2016) and was introduced to Project Pink'd soon after, when the first calendar was released. The support I received from Project Pink'd has brought new life to my once scared and broken heart. Project Pink'd led me to my true purpose and allows me to lead, to motivate, inspire and love on others.
I've actively volunteered with Project Pink'd since 2010 and have witnessed firsthand the profound impact Project Pink’d has on our community. Over the years, I have been honored to serve as a member of the Grant Committee and to participate in the very first
Dare to Thrive Retreat in 2014. In a full-circle moment, I now have the privilege of co-facilitating the Dare to Thrive Renewal Program. The opportunities I've been given by Cynthia Sturgeon and Project Pink'd have been deeply meaningful and I am incredibly passionate about the mission.
I am truly blessed and honored to have the opportunity to serve our community on the Board of Directors.
