Pink'd In The News

Care to Share: It's Personal

The holidays can be a challenging time for breast cancer survivors. For Project Pink’d, an Omaha-based non-profit, easing the burden for survivors going through treatment, or those in need of a little extra TLC this holiday season, has been a long-standing tradition.

On Sunday, November 13, 2022, Project Pink’d hosted their seventh annual Care to Share Thanksgiving event at The Post Event Center in Ralston, NE. The annual Care to Share Thanksgiving event provided breast cancer survivors an opportunity to connect with other survivors and give thanks for their many blessings.

Over 135 breast cancer survivors throughout Nebraska and Western Iowa, celebrated their survivorship in the company of new friends while gobbling up treats, playing games and hearing inspirational stories from survivors who are now thriving.

This complimentary program was made available to breast cancer survivors in Nebraska and Western Iowa. Thank you to our Care to Share Thanksgiving sponsors, Bryan Health and HyVee (156th and Maple) and many generous donors and supporters.
